# BitCryptic™

> Gary Walker (BitCryptic™) — systems administrator and infrastructure engineer, Sydney, Australia. Four decades in technology, from early Australian internet infrastructure to co-founding Fetch TV, Australia's first commercial IPTV platform. Current focus: self-hosted AI infrastructure, DePIN, cybersecurity, and open web standards for AI agents.

Primary current work: **MDF (Markdown First)** — an open web standards proposal for an agent-readable web. MDF defines how sites serve clean markdown to AI agents via HTTP content negotiation (`Accept: text/markdown`) at existing URLs, with access policy expressed through price using the x402 (EVM/stablecoin) and L402 (Bitcoin/Lightning) payment standards. Co-authored with Graham Hall (Slepner). MIT licensed.
